IEC ESOL VYLE Speaking Exams

  • IEC ESOL VYLE Speaking Exams

Learning a foreign language is critical not only for students’ academic success but also for building confident communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to participate effectively in a global society.
Within this framework, IEC ESOL exams, administered by the International Exam Centre (IEC), measure students’ English language skills according to objective, internationally-aligned criteria and provide a professional assessment of their progress.

IEC ESOL Exams and International Alignment

IEC ESOL exams are designed in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which sets standards for language teaching and assessment across Europe.
International Exam Centre is a member of Quality English and an Associate Member of ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe).
    This membership ensures that:
    • Students’ skills are assessed fairly and objectively.
    • Reports provide clear, measurable information on strengths and areas for development.

IEC ESOL VYLE (Very Young Learners) – Ages 4–6

IEC ESOL VYLE exams are designed specifically for the youngest learners to assess Listening and Speaking skills.
    The exams:
    • Use play-based, interactive tasks to reduce exam stress.
    • Support and enhance student motivation for language learning.
    • Provide individualized assessment for each student.
    • Offer a detailed report on strengths and areas for improvement, shared with parents and school management.
This approach helps students experience their first language learning environment in a positive and supportive setting.

    Certificates and Feedback

    Students receive:
    • A certificate from International Exam Centre acknowledging their participation and progress.
Note: The certificate reflects performance on the exam but does not imply accreditation or official approval by ALTE or Quality English.
    • A detailed development report, providing parents and educators with actionable insights for continued learning.

Parents can submit applications through school administration to have their child’s English proficiency assessed within a structured, professional framework.
